The following artwork illustrates the allowable building possibilities per the “Conditional Use Permit” issued by Coconino County AZ.
ReTown provided project oversight during the due diligence, entitlement, and conceptualization phases of a new campus for Grace Community Church in Flagstaff, AZ. ReTown’s structured facilitation during the entitlement process was specifically helpful as there were multiple parties that needed to be coordinated. Jim brought his past experience to bear as he navigated the regulatory process and submissions. Jim’s disciplined approach kept the project focused and the Church informed. We received regular communication and updates regarding his progress with the regulatory agencies and project engineers. Our project was not without difficulties, and Jim’s calm, systematic approach was highly valued during these challenges. I would also note that Jim provided valuable creative input during site planning. You will find ReTown to be well organized, systematic, and creative as you engage him for your project.
Letter of Recommendation by Brian Ketter – Elder, Grace Community Church
The mission of Grace Community Church is to live and preach the Gospel with the desire to introduce people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As followers of Christ we seek to worship and serve Him fervently and equip believers toward maturity in their faith.
Retown was engaged by Grace Community Church and successfully completed the necessary services to obtain the Conditional Use Permit from Coconino County Arizona. The CUP was issued for the 10-acre site including a new Church building, land development, and off-site infrastructure. Retown’s services included project management, site analysis, planning, programming, and landscape architecture. This work was completed in collaboration with MERobinson Consulting & SWI Engineering.
The 10-acre site is dominated by the Ponderosa Pine forest native to Coconino County AZ and Retown assisted the Church in preparing site plan and landscape architectural solutions that preserved the forest ecology and nestled the new Church in a natural setting. The subject property is located on the south side of W Route 66, just east of the Coca-Cola plant on Flagstaff Ranch Road and just west of the City of Flagstaff municipal boundaries where the Timber Sky development is under construction. It is identified an Assessor’s Parcel Number 116-04-016.
