Retown was engaged to complete two special projects for the Property Manager and Home Owners Association at this preeminent luxury condominium building located in Chicago’s Central Station neighborhood. Project One was archiving the original building-permit plans and specifications that were either lost or disheveled. Retown collated all of the as-builts rolls and plans and contacted the original architect and engineers to obtain digital files. The projects successful completion resulted in an organized inventory of the original as-builts for use by the building engineer for ongoing maintenance. Project Two is the Landscape Tree Pruning project in the buildings rooftop garden and entry court. These two gardens are important amenities for the residents and were overgrown, unhealthy and in need of rejuvenation. Retown successfully completed the landscape upgrade overseeing the rejuvenation pruning of multiple tree-species including Callery Pears, Crusgalli Hawthorns and diverse ornamental plantings.
